Like They Need A Reason To Argue

Here's another beautiful tableau shot I remembered, to bookend my earlier post on this subject--and this time not a mere panel, but a full page. This one is by artist Don Heck, from the first Avengers annual:

If you're wondering why the Avengers have turned against each other--why, it's because the Mandarin has turned his hate-ray machine on them, of course. When hit, it causes you to lash out in anger at the person nearest to you. But the sinister plot was foiled by none other than the Wasp, who--but hey, I won't spoil it for you, just in case the action going on here tempts you to track down and read the issue for yourself.
