And No, It's Not Egghead

Can YOU

Name This Marvel Villain??

You'd think at first that this villain was quite a guy, acting as he did for the benefit of others. Yet forcing someone to assist you has a way of making yourself persona non grata, particularly if power is your ulterior motive. Worse, he employed deception to achieve his ends, which usually doesn't sit too well with those whose aid you're soliciting. In the end, though, Kurrgo, Master of Planet X, turned out to be his own worst enemy--his craving for power and dominance entrapping him in the fate he was striving to avoid.

In fact, this should tell you all you need to know about our friend Kurrgo:

(Though Reed certainly seems okay with looking past his faults.)

Kurrgo seemingly got his just deserts, though, when at the last minute he sought to take advantage of a desperate situation in order to tighten his grip on power.  But as his subjects fled his doomed world, his little plan backfired on him:

You'd swear a name like "Kurrgo" was straight out of an Ed Wood film, though in his next scheme he had to tone down the "Master of Planet X" part a bit. If he was successful, he might have been able to reclaim it. But deception proved to lead to his undoing once again, as the power he sought to conscript instead caused him to meet a fiery end.
