I realize that you Northerners are made of sterner stuff than we north Floridians--but, good grief, even you have to be thinking twice about venturing out Thursday morning!
Let's be careful out there. And remember to pack your armor.
(Preferably the model with the heating unit!)

I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of snow (not too much, just a bit) - the British Isles are on the same latitude as Canada but due to various factors (such as the Gulf Stream) it is much milder here than it should be for such a northerly country. It's an amazing sight to wake up and see a blanket of snow outside because it's so rare. What we do have is rain - rain, rain, rain and yet more %*£@#$! rain. I know I should think of all those places that have to endure drought and I wish I could send them some of our rain because the amount of rain in the UK in the last year is soul-destroying. And I'm sure it's getting worse due to climate change :(
I don't mind rain, but I agree--constant rain is depressing, and we've had our fair share of it in the last couple of months.
The humidity in places like Florida would drive me nuts. That's one big plus about the UK - the summers are usually cool and it's almost never humid. I don't mind rain either but it's so relentless - ggrrr, as I type these words it's starting AGAIN.
I actually LOVE this weather.., funny as that may sound.
I went out yesterday and with the new blowing white snow, I was in nirvana.
Seriously.
If you ask David what his perfect weather is.., it was my Tundra day yesterday. :)
