Jack Kirby's Eternals!

Given the two-page spread that you've already seen depicted by Jack Kirby of the Uni-Mind ritual which debuted in the pages of The Eternals, I couldn't just leave you with your tongues hanging out like that. Have a look at some more double-page goodness from that short-lived mag, as only Kirby could present it.

An underrated series by far. This was one of my favorite comics as a kid. I was drawn by the art, but sat puzzling for many hours over the timeless themes in this mag. Greek tragedy, Greek mythology, Shakespearean speeches.
A giant space god with the formula for planetary destruction printed on his thumb? An undersea city populated by a race of genetic "Deviants" with a Roman-style arena where "rejects" face off for survival? A doomed love affair between the Devil (Kro) and Athena (Thena)? Ikaris vs. the cosmic-powered Hulk? (one of the coolest fight scenes I've seen in comics). Just another day at work for Kirby.

"Just another day at work for Kirby." Excellent way of putting it.
