I remember that splash page from #1 of the British weekly 'The Complete Fantastic Four' dated September 28th 1977. It was so called because the comic featured a modern FF story plus a classic Lee/Kirby story (being issue #1 the Lee/Kirby story was the FF's origin from 1961). I actually enjoyed the classic stories more than the modern ones but 'The Complete Fantastic Four' only lasted until #37, dated June 7th 1978.
(and that's some nice work with the digital editing on the year!)
A heartfelt message to look on the bright side of life. Too bad about poor Alicia having frontal lobotomy. (what a pathetic attempt to draw a blind person)
Happy New Decade :)
