Very glad you enjoyed it. :)
Comicsfanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10064955427593820783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4142199900369238852.post-65889364073832623112018-05-08T10:28:48.435-04:002018-05-08T10:28:48.435-04:00Best... That and the one in which Thor was duped by Loki into fighting Bor, his grandfather to the death ^_^ His encounter with Buri however was & still is incredibly memorable. No big, grueling battle of good vs evil with the fate of the universe at stake, no loudmouthed evildoers declaring their intentions of world domination or universal destruction. Just a young god travelling alone with loss & grief burdening him until he gets rescued by an immensely lovable, inspirational & wise Norse Santa Claus who provides physical & mental healing with his words of wisdom & animated ice maidens ^_^ Plus the fact he's Thor's great-grandfather makes this even more heartwarming !! The final 3 panels with Buri declaring how proud he is of his great-grandson are just... just wonderful. Can't wait to get this issue after ordering it :)Dimitrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14117696700561029590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4142199900369238852.post-36645540868747044872015-03-27T07:07:52.405-04:002015-03-27T07:07:52.405-04:00My pleasure, M.P.--this issue is such enjoyable re...My pleasure, M.P.--this issue is such enjoyable reading, and it was great fun looking at it in depth.
Comicsfanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10064955427593820783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4142199900369238852.post-60905253329195811142015-03-27T06:40:46.112-04:002015-03-27T06:40:46.112-04:00Never trust an eyeball with a grudge.

Fortunately for me, neither one made me wrestle them for my supper!
I always had the sense that Odin did indeed have a "job," being something like a cosmic sheriff or protector, a title it seems he inherited.
A wonderful issue, and a great review. Thanks, C.F.
M.P.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
