...Fun survey of MODOK in all his .... um... glory!

The contrast between the modern coloring and the old-school coloring was fun to see side by side! Look at the modern colored panels, and then just below it the cringe-worthy Ms. MODOK panels. Wow, what a difference the coloring makes!

I had never heard of Ms. MODOK until I read this. Sadly, some things cannot be unseen. ;-)
johnlindwallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11742041159952441523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4142199900369238852.post-36260876816814083672016-10-29T12:34:09.044-04:002016-10-29T12:34:09.044-04:00Colin, to this day I remain confused by the variat...Colin, to this day I remain confused by the variation of "Miss" taking the form of "Ms." as a form of address that's used to disregard a woman's marital status. After all, "Mr." is still pronounced "Mister" and performs the same function; "Ms." seems to have gone a step further and changed its pronunciation to the unfathomable "Miz." Its sound makes it seem like you need a deep southern accent to use it. :)
Comicsfanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10064955427593820783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4142199900369238852.post-62585476652419932892016-10-29T08:45:24.380-04:002016-10-29T08:45:24.380-04:00When I first encountered Ms. Marvel I didn't k...When I first encountered Ms. Marvel I didn't know how to pronounce "Ms" because it was a word I was unfamiliar with - I assumed it was an alternative spelling of "miss" so for me she was Miss Marvel. My friend, Lee, thought we had to pronounce each letter - "M" "S" Marvel but I knew that couldn't be right !Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4142199900369238852.post-29056390676351318162016-10-29T03:08:19.608-04:002016-10-29T03:08:19.608-04:00AIM weren't completely inconsiderate - they le...AIM weren't completely inconsiderate - they left his arms long enough that he could scratch his nose if it itched.B Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16618583443442543086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4142199900369238852.post-20355129383230865362016-10-28T16:08:46.141-04:002016-10-28T16:08:46.141-04:00You'd think after the problems they had with t...You'd think after the problems they had with the first Modok, they would have quit while they were a head...I mean ahead.
(Uh, sorry.
